Cassie Williams

Cassie Williams has been Penfield's Town Clerk since 1987. During her tenure, Cassie has sought to improve government services to the community through various programs and grants. She has obtained several records grants to efficiently handle the Town's record inventory by adding an inactive storage facility, microfilming documents to save space and obtain a geographic Information System to improve our mapping capabilities.

Cassie headed a committee that investigated the Town's mailing costs and neighbor notification procedures. As a result, mailing costs, personnel time and materials used have been drastically reduced. The Town improved the process and saved significant tax dollars. According to Cassie, communication with our residents is of the utmost importance, and she continues to work on committees to find new ways to reach out to our community whenever possible.
