Penfield RepublicansPenfield Town Board![]() Jim MulleyJim Mulley joined the Town Board in April 2005, and was elected to a two-year term in November, 2005. Jim chairs law and finance activities for the Town. Jim is an attorney in the Monroe County Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office and Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He also serves on several regional councils, including the Monroe County Juvenile Justice Council, the Board of Visitors of the New York School at Industry, the Criminal Justice Council, the STOP-DWI Technical Advisory Board, the Public Safety Sector Team and the Monroe County Bar Association’s Assigned Council Advisory Board. Jim was appointed by County Executive Maggie Brooks to the Public Safety Lab Advisory Team, which acts as her principal advisors regarding future plans for the Monroe County Crime Lab. Jim has earned many honors and distinctions in his legal career, including the 2002 Nathaniel Award, sponsored by The Daily Record, which recognizes individuals and organizations in the legal community that have demonstrated a commitment to justice; The Asset Partners Network’s Certificate of Recognition; the United States Attorney’s Certificate of Merit for the Western District of New York; The 1999 Teddi Award, the highest honor awarded by Camp Good Days & Special Times to volunteers who improve the quality of life for children with cancer; and other awards of appreciation for his work on behalf of crime victims and juvenile justice in our community.
