Penfield RepublicansDeputy Town Supervisor![]() Linda KohlDeputy Town Supervisor Linda Kohl was elected to the Town Board in 1991. She currently chairs the Community Services Committee and is the liaison to the following preservation committees: Historic Preservation Board, Local History Room Advisory Committee, the Friends of Dayton's Corners Schoolhouse and a member of the Penfield Heritage Association. In addition, Linda is liaison the Penfield Library Board, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board , Penfield Cable Television Advisory Committee and a co-liaison to the Health & Wellness Committee. Linda had served on the original Open Space Committee in 2001, and was selected to chair the Town Open Space Update Committee in 2005. Linda is a past chair of the Penfield Transportation Committee, Public Safety Committee and Law & Finance Committee. Prior to being elected to the Town Board, Linda was a member of Penfield's Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and the Waterfront Revitalization Committee. Linda is currently Director of Development of the Penfield Economic Development Corporation as well as a member of both the Penfield Chamber of Commerce and the Penfield Business Association. She is also a past director of the Penfield Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Linda is a new Board member of the Penfield Rotary, serving as Director of Community Services. Linda is a life-long Penfield resident and graduate of Penfield High School. Her education includes a Masters degree in Public Administration from SUNY-Albany and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from SUNY-Fredonia.
