Jeff Leenhouts

Town Supervisor

Jeff is an active community leader whose career has focused on finance, as a financial advisor and project manager. He has worked with Smith Barney, RBC Wealth Management, Home Leasing, and Home Properties, and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College.

He is a volunteer with several organizations and charities, with board positions having included Penfield Little League, Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts of America's Seneca Waterways Council, Center for Youth, Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, Rochester Regional Health Foundation, Rochester Rotary Club, and Rochester Police Foundation.

Leenhouts’ professional and community work has equipped him with extensive experience to lead the Town of Penfield. He has led many projects to successful completion, managing diverging interests, while building relationships and celebrating positive outcomes in a timely manner.

Leenhouts believes the Town of Penfield has helped shape the person he’s become. Penfield is where he and his wife and four children have celebrated all their holidays and the Penfield town streets are where his kids learned to ride their bikes and then drive their cars. His neighbors are friends, teachers, classmates, and teammates. For the Leenhouts family, Penfield is forever a part of their story and their deepest sense of home.
