Debbie Drawe
Appointed to the Monroe County Legislature in August of 2009 where she represents the 9th Legislative District, which includes most of the town of Penfield. Debbie serves as Chairwoman of the Human Services Committee as well as Vice Chair of the Public Safety Committee.
Debbie Drawe served as a member of the Penfield Town Board from 2006 – 2009 where she chaired the Public Works Committee and was the liaison to the Conservation Board, Fire Districts, Historic Preservation Board, Penfield School Districts and Huntington Meadows residents.
Debbie is an active member in the Penfield community where she served on the Town of Penfield Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (1999 to 2005). She has also volunteered for the Penfield School District as the Cobbles School PTA, Co-President (1999-2001), the Arts in Education program, and the Shared Decision Making (SDM) team. Debbie is a dedicated volunteer who has participated in many youth oriented charitable fundraising activities which is one of her main interest areas.
Professionally, Debbie is a Sales Representative for Ferrero, Inc., an international corporation. Ferrero is a company that represents a national confectionary products program in the Rochester market for mass merchandisers, warehouse and drug accounts.
Debbie grew up in Rochester, attending Our Lady of Mercy High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Geneseo in 1982 and was chosen for the “Who’s Who” in American Colleges and Universities. She lives in Penfield with her husband Steve and their two children, Holly and Zach where they attend St. Joseph's Church.
